My Favourite Place at School

riannaAt school on Monday Miss Murray took photos of my class at their favourite places in

the school.

My favourite place in the school was the flying fox playground. In my photo I am

upside down on the red bars. My face is turning red like my dress. In the background I

can see trees, a blue pole and nice grass. I can see heaps of colours: pink, green, blue,

white and red. We did it in Literacy on Monday and I liked it.

Here is a photo of me in a tunnel on a playground. The tunnel is red, so are my pants. I’m happy because it is my

favourite place. I am in a red and white dress. My shoes are pink. I am at school. The tunnel is round and I look like

an egg. The sky is white.                                                                                                                                            By Jessie Hearljessie

I am at the basketball court and I threw around a ball. There are some trees diagonal to me, and grass under the tree.

The tree is big but it looks small in the photo. The ball is small. I am medium size and I can see red, black, green,

yellow, blue, white and grey colours. I felt happy because I got a goal and I was playing. I jumped up and threw the

ball all the way through the hoop. The sky and the tables where in front of me. When I threw the ball I said “arrr and

ehh.”          By Mark Hederman mark

My favourite place in the school is on the gymnastics bars. I like the bars because I like gymnastics. I am happy in

this photo. I am upside down .I am in my school dress. I am smiling because I am happy. Behind me is grass and

underneath me is wood chips. My hair is waving from side to side.

My Cute Fluffy Guinea Pig

On Sunday I acquired a guinea pig which I bought at Fountain Gate which is in Melbourne. It was cute, fluffy and playful although sometimes it got a bit too playful. It scratched and nibbled my hands.

To stop it from scratching, I put it on Elliott’s bed in a mesh hutch with a wooden top and bottom. On the floor of the cage I placed some carrots and cut up lettuce leaves. The guinea pig swallows a big piece of food and digests it before taking another one.

Its favourite food  would have to be mandarin peels and fruit. It feally likes them because they are juicy. It loves them so much that it bounces out of its cage and steals our peels, dragging them back to its cage. Now that we know that it loves mandarin peels we put our peels in its cage. We have to carefully read the labels on its food so that we don’t give it too much meat, sugar and some types of hay.

Because it needs to run around and play in the fresh air, I carry it outside away from the cats which I leave inside for one hour so Guinea can scuttle around safely.

Sometimes it poops on Bot’s bed and he has to clean it up. He doesn’t like Guinea because of this.

Guinea is my special pet and I love him.
